Cammy has always been happiest outdoors, The past two summers at camp, has given him the opportunity to share his passions with others. As an expert in Camp Craft, Cammy taught campers the skills, to not only survive, but to thrive in the outdoors; including knot tying, fire building, and navigation. Cammy has also led three week-long canoe trips across the Kawartha Highlands and Algonquin Provincial Park, fostering teamwork, resilience, and strong group morale while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the campers in remote wilderness environments.

Back home in Scotland he's a keen hiker and mountaineer, having summited 129 of the country’s 282 mountains over 3000ft, known as "Munros". Furthermore,  Cammy's conquering of Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s tallest free-standing mountain, as well as Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, has solidified his excellence in the outdoors across multiple types of terrain.

Cammy graduated from university with a degree in Aero-Mechanical Engineering and is incredibly excited to be heading up the RAW program. With goals to lead a program that is fun, safe, and educational – RAW will build on the strong traditions of overnight summer camps while carving out its own lasting legacy. At RAW, campers won’t just participate in the experience – they’ll help to create it.

Timothy is a decorated tripping leader and expert in outdoor education. He has led, planned and managed managed outdoor adventure trips of various lengths and difficulties in the Haliburton Highlands for the past three years but his interest and experience in the world of tripping goes much further than that.

On the logistics side, Tim's experience as a student of Human Resources, allows him to understand the importance that social dynamics play in living in the outdoor world and how to lead a group of young people in this unique camp setting. With nearly a decade of experience in the world of tripping as a participant, and as a highly skilled paddle instructor, Tim knows the Canadian bush better than anybody! 

An expert in a number of areas, Sadie manages and plans our wide program selection in the lead up to RAW. She has skills in a number of outdoor activities from paddle, to campcraft but her experience and passion for nature in particular is her strong suit. Sadie has a green thumb and knows the forest just as well as her backyard garden. Her training in the culinary arts has made her highly proficient in cooking and Sadie tests the limits of what tasty treats and savoury eats can be enjoyed out in the wild.

With many years of leading trips and camping outdoors, Sadie's diverse set of skills makes her one of our star players in the planning of both our programs and the awesome menu our campers are lucky enough to enjoy.

Andrew brings over 20 years of camp management experience and a creative passion to his role at RAW. A lifelong supporter of the camping movement, he believes deeply in the impact of summer camp in Ontario and is driven to ensure that every camper feels seen, supported and valued.

During his time at camp, Andrew has built a healthy blend of creative play paired with skilled instruction. He is a hands-on leader who is often found in the centre of the excitement, fully immersed in the programs he helps bring to life. A committed advocate for sustainability, he is passionate about teaching campers the importance of their environmental footprint and the role they play in caring for the world around them.

As a parent, you can be confident that under Andrew’s leadership, RAW will continue developing new, dynamic and sustainable programs each year. His goal is to set a consistently high standard of excellence that is both innovative and exceptional for every child who attends.

Originally from the UK, Anne has been overseeing administration for multiple summer camps for over 10 years. She is a popular icon at the Haliburton Highlands commiunity as in addition to bookkeeping and accounts, she also heads up our tuck shop.

A food scientist by education, Anne possesses a wide range of skills and can be found helping out in any and all aspects of our camp operation year round.

A local resident of Cardiff Ontario, Anne lives a stone throw away from the camp with her husband Dan.
